Welcome to our spring escape tour.
We’re headed to Santa Barbara for some much-needed spring therapy. For us, that means going to a place where the flowers are blooming and the trees have leaves.
We have so many places to share with you from this trip. In this first episode, we’ll take you along with us as we explore the southern Utah desert before setting our compass west toward Santa Barbara.
Come along with us as we reminisce and photograph one of our favorite locations - the Valley of the Gods. Then it’s off to capture the Sand Caves near Kanab, Utah, and then the real gem - a hike to the Vortex!

After three months on the road, we’re wrapping up our Autumn Van Life Adventure Photography Series.
In this video, we travel from Lake Michigan to the Badlands of South Dakota where we experience howling winds and out-of-this-world landscapes, and hit the jackpot photographing big horn sheep in the Badlands National Park.
Traveling across the plains, Matt shares his Native American ancestry and how his great, great grandmother was the niece of Sitting Bull.
After so many wonderful adventures, we decided to take a few days to decompress in Moab, Utah where we take a late-autumn hike to the Morning Glory Arch.

Our shake-out tour took us on a challenging and exciting trip from viewing the total solar eclipse in Texas where we positioned ourselves within the zone of totality to exploring remote desert vistas in southern Utah.
